Elite Hometrainer Turno
Accurate
Accuracy is TURNO's strong suit. Its Misuro B+ sensor is calibrated ad hoc on each home trainer via a super accurate ergometer. Each home trainer is mapped and its power curves are stored in its sensor, thus correcting the potential manufacturing tolerances that might arise. This ensures unprecedented accuracy for a home trainer that does not feature an integrated power meter.
Powerful
TURNO is the new Smart non-interactive direct transmission home trainer with integrated fluid technology resistance that joined the wide range of ELITE indoor training solutions. It's an even more accurate, quieter and more powerful home trainer than those that preceded it.
Achievable power levels are high, for instance 700 Watt (at 40 km/h) and 1670 Watt (at 60 km/h). TURNO power output is calculated, not measured. This means that the home trainer does not feature devices that "feel" the power output, rather it calculates it as a function of bike speed. This would usually entail lower accuracy levels, however that's not the case with TURNO, as every single home trainer is calibrated and a new algorithm has been introduced, which takes into account how much the heating up of the home trainer lowers resistance and gradually compensates its power as it heats up.
Direct Transmission
TURNO is directly connected to the bike's chain. The effort on pedals always transfers evenly to the resistance unit, thus optimizing indoor training sessions. This is how it's possible to avoid any slippage, even under extreme conditions such as sprints or standing starts.
Versatile
Even though it's used as a traditional home trainer (unfold the home trainer, mount the bike and start pedalling), compared to its predecessor, TURNO is already Smart as it wirelessly sends training data. The Misuro B+ sensor is already inside TURNO - it allows to send speed, cadence and power data. This is how the cyclist can monitor (on smartphones, tablets, cycle computers, and compatible GPS devices even via third party apps and software) his training session and conduct performance evaluation tests.
Connectivity
Turno is categorized as a Smart home trainer (not interactive).
Data transmission is wireless via ANT+™ (Power and Speed & Cadence) and Bluetooth Smart communication protocols.
Training sessions are monitored via the My E-training app for iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, in order to have a varied and stimulating indoor training session.
Turno can also be used with other indoor cycling platforms (which usually require a paid subscription), among which: Zwift, TrainerRoad, The Sufferfest, Bikevo, Kinomap and many more.

A very accurate training by using Cadence, Speed and Power data
All Elite trainers rely on immediate transmission of power, speed and pedal cadence data in order to let you achieve a very specific and accurate training plan.
To measure cadence, our trainers make use of practical sensorless technology capable of detecting the pedaling rate without having to install sensors on the bike frame.
Most of our trainers measures pedal cadence by analyzing the speed variation, whereas our interactive Direto and Drivo II measure cadence via power analysis by means of their innovative in-built power meter OTS.
